Provision of Vacant Property Inspections
Sercon deliver a vacant property inspection service to Colliers CRE to guarantee compliance to insurance needs and ensure that the property is kept to a high standard for potential tenants to view and move in.
Within this contract we mobilise a team of mobile security officers to provide a range of void security services including roving perimeter patrols on a daily basis, alarm monitoring and maintenance, emergency response and key holding, lock down procedures and reactive property maintenance detection.
In addition to this, our operative conducts general cleaning services which gives our client the assurances that any potential tenants receive a positive and inviting impression when attending site. Upon request by our client, our operative attends site to act as an escort for contractors, ensuring site safety rules are being adhered to and there is no damage to the property. Through our experience with our clients, we are well versed in the requirements of vacant property inspections.
KPMG
Provision of Vacant Property Inspections
We work closely with KPMG conducting vacant property inspections to approximately 40 properties spread across a wide geographical region. Upon contract award, we verified the security of each property and ensured all utilities were turned off, water systems drained and buildings secured. Thereafter, on a weekly basis our mobile operatives attend each property, taking meter readings to ensure there is no unauthorized usage, visually checking the internal and external of the property for damage through vandalism or the elements. In addition to this, on an ad-hoc basis, we escort contractor’s, visitors and potential tenants to the site upon request from our client.
Our client receives weekly reports from Sercon, enabling them to give evidence to their insurers of continual monitoring of the properties. In the course of the contract, we remain flexible to our client’s needs, giving them value for money as well as a highly efficient service. We review security requirements on an ongoing basis, assessing potential liabilities and offered appropriate advice.
Vesuvius Scotland Ltd
Provision of Multi Building Security, Single Site via Manned Guarding and on-site CCTV monitoring
Sercon provides manned guarding and CCTV monitoring security services to Vesuvius Scotland Ltd, based at its site in Newmilns, Ayrshire. Under this long standing contract, which has been operational since 2005, we have provided a consistent, reliable and professional security service. In the delivery of this contract we have continually exceeded client expectations and have expand our service to encompass 24 hour coverage throughout the year.
In the delivery of the contract our staff conduct roving patrols throughout the site, including multi building and surrounding perimeter patrols in a regular randomised pattern, ensuring they are highly visible at all times without a set routine. This ensures potential intruders are unlikely to be able to plan for opportunities to gain entrance to the site. Access and egress, as well as logging delivers to site, are day to day activities in addition to monitoring CCTV for potential intruders/trespassers.
Fully supported by our 24hr control room, all security officers’ check in every hour to ensure health and safety is maintained at all times. Officers also log all incidents, reactive maintenance risks to secure site and when clocking on and off site.
